Click on your iPod underneath "Devices."
Click the "Summary" tab at the top of the main iTunes window.
Uncheck the "Enable VoiceOver" option in the "Options" section, found in the right-hand pane of iTunes.
Apple's iPod VoiceOver functionality provides you with a verbal notification of song titles and artist details, which you can hear through your headphones or speakers. The function is available on 3rd and 4th generation iPod Shuffle devices and 5th and 6th generation iPod Nanos. If you wish to disable the VoiceOver function, you can switch it off by changing a setting within the iTunes software when you next synchronize your iPod with your computer.
