Use WiFi on an iPod Touch

Use WiFi on an iPod Touch - Turn on the iPod Touch.

Touch the "Settings" option.
Touch the "Wi-Fi" option. It will be the first option at the top of the screen. Doing so will take you to the "Wi-Fi Networks" page on the iPod Touch.

Make sure the "Wi-Fi" option at the top of the screen is set for "On." If not, touch the box next to "Wi-Fi" to set it to "On."

Select one of the wireless networks under the "Choose a Network" heading. If the network is a secured network, you will then be asked to enter a password for that network.

Owners of the iPod Touch can use their portable devices as a way to access the Internet. This can be done anywhere that a Wi-Fi connection exists. Before you can use the iTunes, YouTube and Safari applications on your iPod Touch, you must first turn your Wi-Fi connection on. Doing this as well as connecting to a Wi-Fi network only takes a few steps.
