Connect Multiple iPods to iTunes

Connect Multiple iPods to iTunes - Plug one of the iPods you're going to connect to the iTunes program into any available USB port for the computer.

Open iTunes. Depending on the version of the media player that is on the computer as well as the settings on the plugged-in iPod, a window may open inside iTunes. If this occurs, close that window by either clicking “X” or “No.”
Click on the iPod link that is under the "Devices” category in iTunes. A number of tabs will show up in the center iTunes window.

Choose the “Summary” tab; different settings for the iPod will be listed in the middle iTunes window.

Select the “Manually manage music and videos” setting and click “Apply.” The iPod that you plugged in will sync with iTunes.

With the popularity of iPods as well as the convenience these portable audio players offer to music lovers, there may be more than one person in your home who owns an iPod. This can be a problem if you own only one computer with the iTunes software installed on the system. The reason for this is that the iTunes software is originally meant to sync with one iPod only. Settings in iPods can be changed through iTunes, however, so that you can use multiple iPods with one version of iTunes.
