The iPod Touch is a portable multimedia device that runs on Apple's iOS software. Occasionally, the device software may freeze from installing new applications or running too many programs at once. This results in a white or blank screen. When this occurs, the device is virtually inoperable. Perform a system reset on the iPod Touch to fix a blank screen.
