Get App Store on iPod Touch for Free - Connect your iPod Touch to a wireless Internet network. Tap "Settings" and then "Wi-Fi" and then the name of a wireless Internet network that you want your iPod Touch to connect to. If said network is encrypted, you will need to use the iPod Touch's virtual keyboard to enter the appropriate password.

Scroll through the list of applications that are installed on your iPod Touch until you find the application with the blue icon named "App Store." Tap on this icon to open the "App Store" icon.
Tap "Search" to search for an application by name.

Tap "Featured" to look at some of the featured applications that are selected by iTunes App Store officials. The apps listed on this screen will change on a daily and sometimes weekly basis.



Tap "Top 25" to look at the top 25-rated applications in the entire iTunes App Store.

The iTunes App Store is the key to downloading new and useful applications to your Apple iPod Touch. Typically you have to access the App Store via the iTunes application on your computer. Once apps are downloaded to your computer hard drive, you must then sync your device with your computer. You can, however, have free access to the App Store on your iPod Touch without ever actually connecting it to your computer.
