Match the red, white and yellow connectors on the opposite end of the cable to the red, white and yellow "Auxiliary" ports on the DVD player. For home DVD players, match the red, white and yellow connectors to the ports under the "Audio/Video Input" heading on the back of the DVD player.
Ensure that your iPod's "TV Out" feature is turned on--switch it on if it isn't (Videos>vIdeo Settings>TV out>on). Play the videos on your iPod.
Your iPod's large hard drive and ability to playback video make it an excellent substitute for your stack of DVD disks. With the help of a basic audio/video cable, an iPod can be connected a DVD player, and movies from the iPod's library can be watched through the DVD player. Set up is quick and simple enough to use with a portable DVD player for road trips.
