Reset My iPod Video Screen Lock

Reset My iPod Video Screen Lock - Open iTunes on a computer and connect the iPod using the USB connect cable.

Enable the iPod for disk use if it is not already enabled. It will be a check box under "Devices > iPod > Options." The Devices tab can be found to left of the iTunes window.
Open "My Computer" from the Windows Start menu and open the "iPod" folder.

Go to "Tools > Folder Options > View" and check "Show hidden files and folders" if it is not already checked. Click "Apply" and then "OK."

A hidden folder will now appear named "iPod_Control." Open the iPod_Control folder and then the folder named "Device" inside of it.

The iPod has a screen lock feature that can be toggled on and off. When the feature is on it requires a code to be entered for the iPod to be used. This code is set by the user when first using the screen lock feature. If this code is forgotten, you cannot use your iPod, and you will be locked out.
