Locate the gray rotation lock symbol on the bottom-left corner of your iPod Touch's screen.
Tap the rotation lock symbol. Rotation lock turns off.
All iPod Touchs version 3.0 or higher include a rotation lock feature, which disables the screen from reorienting as you move the device. This feature is useful when you want to leave the iPod Touch in landscape mode while viewing videos or photos. When you turn on rotation lock, a button appears on the bottom of the screen. Press this button at any time to disable rotation lock.
