Go to the Apple Online Service Assistant (see Resources) if your iPod Nano must be sent in for service.
Type in the serial number of your iPod Nano and choose the country where it was purchased.
Click "Continue" to view the warranty information for your device.
If your iPod Nano stops functioning properly and is still under warranty, you can send it in to Apple for repair. If your device is not under warranty, you can still send it in for service, but you will probably pay for the labor and shipping costs. Before you send your iPod in for repair, be sure to follow all standard troubleshooting steps, such as charging the device or resetting it to factory settings.
