Click the "iTunes Store" in the panel on the left side of the screen. Click "App Store" at the top of the window if you want to download a game to your iPod touch, or click "iPod Games" if you want to download a game to your iPod nano or iPod classic.
Browse through the App Store until you find a game that you want to download, or type the name of the game you are looking for in the "Search Store" box in the upper right corner of the iTunes window.
Click the "Buy" button next to the game's price to purchase and download the game to your computer. Enter your AppleID and password to confirm the purchase.
When Apple introduced the iPod touch in 2007, it shifted the focus from media players to full-featured entertainment devices with support for Web browsing and downloadable applications and games. Downloadable games are also available in several other post-2005 iPod models including several generations of the iPod classic and iPod nano, which can be used for gaming. You can download games directly from iTunes on your computer and sync them to your iPod. Note that games compatible with the iPod touch are not compatible with the iPod nano and classic, and vice-versa.
