Add Videos to the iPod Touch

Add Videos to the iPod Touch - Turn on your computer and run iTunes. Download any necessary updates if prompted when the program starts.

Plug your iPod Touch into your computer using your Touch's USB cable. Notice that your iPod Touch's icon appears beneath "Devices" in the left-hand source pane.
Click your iPod Touch's icon after it appears beneath "Devices," located on the left-hand side in the source pane. A summary page appears displaying your device's settings and data usage.

Choose the tab associated with the type of video you would like to sync, such as "Movies," "TV shows" or "Podcasts." You can also sync your music videos in the "Music" tab.

Select the sync options for each video type by clicking the "Sync" check box after you've clicked your desired video tab. Repeat this step for each video type, such as "Moves," "Podcasts" or "TV shows," if desired.

The iPod Touch, first released in 2007, was the first Apple iPod to utilize a touchscreen, which was popularized with the iPhone. In essence, the iPod Touch is a toned down iPhone, without the ability to make phone calls or text. But, that doesn't mean it's not a capable device. In addition to being an all-purpose media player like all iPods, the Touch can download apps and surf the Internet at Wi-Fi hotspots. And, as with all iPods, the Touch can sync and play videos.
