Charge an Apple iPod Battery - Plug the USB side of the iPod cable into your computer .

Connect the other side to the bottom of your iPod.
Check the iPod screen. If you see a battery icon, the MP3 player is charging.

Plug the A/C adapter into an open wall outlet in your home.



Connect the iPod side of the cable into the bottom of your iPod.

The Apple iPod comes with a rechargeable battery that does not need to be removed from the device. To charge the iPod battery, you must plug the MP3 player into a wall, computer or docking station. If you use the dock, you can listen to your iPod on speakers while giving it a full charge.
