The iPod Touch, billed by Apple as "the funnest iPod ever," has soared in popularity since its arrival on the scene September 5, 2007. The second-generation iPod Touch debuted one year later in September 2008. For many gadget aficionados, the first question is how to get their hands on the new device. However, the second inevitable question once the slick new portable media player is in hand is how to get media (music and videos) onto the iPod Touch. Many people own extensive CD collections and need to transfer this music onto the iPod Touch.
