An iPod is a personal media player capable of playing videos, music and even surfing the Internet on some models. One of the most basic tasks of using an iPod is the ability to charge the battery. There are numerous ways to do this, including using a special cable to plug it into a wall outlet or to plug it into a computer. The second option can be accomplished on most computers because all iPod’s come equipped with a USB cable that plugs directly into a computer’s USB port. You can charge your iPod on virtually any computer using this method.
