Delete All the Personal Information on Your iPod - Connect your computer and your iPod using the USB cord.

Open iTunes on your computer if it doesn't automatically open when you connect your iPod.
Click to select your iPod when it appears under "Devices" on the left side of your iTunes screen.

Select the "Summary" tab and click "Restore."
