Install iTunes using the cd included. Once iTunes load, you are now ready to add music. This can be done by cd, adding music from your computer or buying directly from iTunes.
By inserting a cd, iTunes will automatically detect it and ask you if you want to import the cd to your iTunes library.
Through the file menu, you can add a file, folder or playlist from your computer to the iTunes library.
There is a store option on the left menu that allows you to purchase music from the iTunes store as well. You can purchase songs and albums.
Once this is done, attach the USB to the iPod and computer. iTunes will instanly recognize your iPod and you can begin to add music, sync(keep the library and iPod in step as you add/delete music) and name/configure your device.
From the library, select the music either one at a time or in clusters to the iPod, just point, click and drag and you're done. Enjoy!
