Force-Quit an iPod



Force-Quit an iPod - Slide the "Hold" switch on the top of the iPod device to the "Unlock" position. The "Unlock" position is the furthest position to the left.

Press and hold the "Select" button and the "Menu" button simultaneously.
Hold the "Select" and "Menu "buttons for approximately 10 seconds, or until the iPod force quits and the device resets.

Press and hold the "Sleep/Wake" button on the upper edge of the iPod Touch device.



Press and hold the "Home" button while still holding the "Sleep/Wake" button.

Apple's iPod line of media players are designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind. Despite the stability of the iPod operating system, the operating system still has issues that result in the device freezing or not responding properly from time to time.
