Sort through your music library. Most of us add music on a regular basis without thinking about how much space it takes up and how much is being used. Chances are you have a few albums or artists on your iPod that you don't listen to anymore.
Review your photos. Instead of keeping all your albums on your iPod, consider leaving a few favorites on it and taking out the rest. Photos can take up a lot of space based on size and pixels alone.
Look through your video library, if you are using a video-capable iPod. Like photos, videos can eat up a lot of memory fast due to their size. If you have an iPod Touch, consider canning some applications that you hardly use. Even if you decide you want them back later, iTunes will recognized that you've already purchased an app and allow you to re-download it on a later date.
The Apple iPod is a pocket-sized device that allows you to take your favorite music with you on the go. In addition to music files, you can upload photos and even videos to specific generations of the iPod. When memory runs low, there are a few things you can do to tidy up your iPod and make room for more files.
