Put Music and Videos on an iPod 80GB - Download iTunes and install it to your system if you do not have it installed already. When it comes to transferring music or video to your iPod 80GB, iTunes is essential. You can download the program for free at the Apple website (see Resources.)

Connect your iPod 80GB to your computer using the interface cable provided with the device. One end of the cable plugs into the only port on your iPod device, and the other end plugs into a USB port on your computer.
