As of September 2010, the iPod Classic and the iPod Nano are the only iPods to have reached their sixth generation mark. You can reboot, or reset, an iPod just as you might a computer or cell phone. When troubleshooting your iPod, Apple recommends first attempting a reset to solve your problem. A reset will repair the majority of the issues afflicting your device.
