Slide your finger against the arrow bar at the bottom of the screen.
Type in the four-digit code to unlock the device.
Insert the USB cable into the iPod Touch's dock connector on the bottom of the device and plug the other end into your computer's empty USB port.
The touch screen on the iPod Touch enables you to keep unauthorized users from accessing your information by requiring a pass-code in order to unlock the device. When you first set up the device's pass-code settings, you must enter a four-digit code that is used to unlock the device after a period of time. In order to protect your information, this code should be easy for you to remember but difficult for others. If you happen to forget your pass-code, the only way to unlock the device is to restore the iPod Touch to its original factory settings.
