Use an iPod Top Up Card

Use an iPod Top Up Card - Launch iTunes and click the "iTunes Store" link on the left side of the window. Click "Sign In" in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Click "Redeem," located under "Quick Links" on the right side of the page.
Scratch off the silver coating on the back of the iTunes gift card, using a coin or your fingernail. Enter the 16-digit code in the text box.

Click "Redeem" to add the gift card to your iTunes account balance.

If you want to make a purchase on iTunes, but don't feel comfortable storing your credit card or PayPal information in your account, you can use an iTunes gift card, or what is also known as a "top up card." iTunes cards are sold by most mass-market retailers and provide a safe method of payment for your iTunes purchases.
