Apple iPod Nano Instructions - Charge your iPod Nano by plugging the cable that came with it into the connector in the bottom of the iPod. Plug the other end into your computer's USB port. Your iPod will begin charging when you plug it in and will continue to charge until it is full, which can take up to three hours. Your iPod will also automatically sync all the files in your iTunes library within the iTunes program on your computer. Disconnect the iPod Nano by removing the cable.

Select "Video Camera" from the main menu to start the video recorder on the Nano. Point the Nano at your subject and press the center button to start recording. Press and hold the center button before you start recording to be able to choose from several video effects to use with your recording. Press the center button again to stop recording. You can then press "Menu" to see a list of your videos and can select one to play.

Plug the earphones or headphones into the Nano and choose "Radio" from the main menu to access the FM radio. The headphones have to be plugged in as the Nano uses the cord as an antenna. Use the click wheel to change the station, which is shown on a marker at the bottom of the screen. You can also press the "Forward" or "Reverse" button to have the radio seek out the next station.

In addition to playing music, the iPod Nano can play video, show pictures, play FM radio and record video with the camera on the back. Using the Nano is much like using other iPods, but if you have never used a click wheel, you might need to get used to it.
