Buy a wired FM modulator. It is a more expensive, higher quality incarnation of the wireless version. It can be wired by you, or a professional, into the antenna input of the MINI. It functions as a middleman between the antenna and the MINI's radio, allowing you to tune it to an empty FM radio station and play the iPod through that station. The sound quality produced equals that of any high-quality FM broadcast.
Buy an auxiliary input cable. This can also be wired by you, if you have the proper knowledge, or a professional. Connect it to the auxiliary input in the back of the MINI's stereo, and run it into the cockpit of the MINI. Plug it into the iPod's headphone port, and select "Auxiliary" on the stereo. The sound quality produced is nearly perfect.
An iPod is a mobile MP3 player designed by Apple. It was released in 2001, and since then, has been improved yearly, with Apple striving to make it more powerful, capable, and spacious. MINI is a car brand owned by BMW. From the years of 1959 to 2000, it was its own company and operated under the moniker "Mini Cooper," but when BMW bought the brand, they changed the presentation of the name to "MINI." These vehicles have a distinct appearance, high fuel economy ratings, and luxurious styling, despite their diminutive size. Converting an iPod's signal to be playable in a MINI requires an adapter.
