Connect an iPod Touch to a TV to Listen to Music - Plug the red connector of the stereo cable into the right audio input jack of your TV. The left audio input jack on most TVs is color-coded red to match AV cables.

Plug the white connector of the stereo cable into the left audio input jack of your TV. The left audio input jack on most TVs is color-coded white to match AV cables.
Insert the connector on the other end of the stereo cable into the line-out port on the top of your iPod Touch. The line-out port of the iPod Touch is where you normally connect the iPod Touch earbuds.

Power on your TV. Turn the volume control all the way down.

Change the TV to the proper input channel. The proper input channel will correspond to the iPod audio jack connection. For example, if you connected the iPod stereo cable to the "Input 1" audio jacks of your TV, turn the TV to the "Input 1" channel.
