Delete the Update Badge From the App Store

Delete the Update Badge From the App Store - Turn on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and open your Safari Internet browser.

Type "Jailbreakme.com" into the URL bar, then touch the "Go" button.
Swipe the arrow button across the screen in the same manner that you do to unlock your device. The jailbreak should begin downloading itself.

Touch the "OK" button when a pop-up notification appears, telling you that Cydia has been added to the home screen.

Turn your device off, then turn it back on.

All iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches have an icon on their home screen for the App Store, an app that allows you to download and install other apps directly to your device. One nuisance, however, is that the App Store sometimes gets a notification bubble on it, known as a badge. This little red bubble appears by the App Store icon any time one of your apps needs an update. Fortunately, there's a relatively simple way to get rid of it.
