Disable Cookies on an iPod Touch



Disable Cookies on an iPod Touch - Open the "Settings" menu from the iPod touch Home screen.

Select "Safari" from the main Settings page. The Safari preferences screen loads.
Tap the "Accept Cookies" button. A new page appears.

Tap the "Never" option at the top of the page to apply it to your iPod Touch.



Tap the "Safari" back arrow on the top toolbar to navigate back to the main Safari screen. Then tap the "Settings" back arrow to return to the Settings menu. Press the "Home" button to return to the Home screen.

Web browsers use cookies to store information about certain websites on your computer. The same is true for the Safari mobile Web browser on your iPod Touch. Just as regular desktop Web browsers allow you to control the preferences of your cookies, with the Safari application for iPod Touch you can modify your browsing preferences. Disable and enable cookies at anytime from the Safari settings menu.
