Put Games Onto an iPod



Put Games Onto an iPod - Launch Apple's iTunes music software. Click "iTunes Store" in the lefthand navigational column. If you do not have iTunes installed on your Mac or PC, you may download it for free from the Apple website (see Resources).

Click "iPod Games" within the iTunes Store screen, located on the lefthand side of the window. The iTunes store will list all of the iPod games available for download.
Click on an iPod game's icon to view a description and price. Some are free, but most cost a few dollars.

Click "Preview" to see a video clip of how the game works. Click "Download" if the iPod video game is free, or click "Buy Now" to add it to your iTunes iPod Store shopping cart.



Click the iTunes shopping cart and press "Buy Now" to download the iPod games you have selected. When the games are finished downloading, they will appear in the "Applications" list on the lefthand side of the iTunes window.

The iPod Classic, iPod Nano and iPod Touch are all able to run iPod-specific video games. Arcade, action and trivia games can be uploaded to iPods.
