Put Videos on an iPod Touch 2nd Generation - Make your video file an MP4 format file if it is not already. You can find many converters online such as 4U MP4 Converter, AVS Video Converter or Need 4 Video Converter 7.2, all of which are very easy to use and will allow you to save an MP4 version of the video onto your computer.

Open iTunes by double-clicking on the iTunes icon on your desktop.
