Just like a standard combination lock, an iPod's virtual combination lock uses a combination of numbers to lock unauthorized users out of the device. Also just like a standard combination lock, it is possible to forget the combination used to unlock the iPod screen lock. Unlike a standard combination lock, however, you can change the iPod's combination at will or restore the device to remove the combination entirely. Whether you forgot the combination to your device or you simply want to reset the combination, you can do so in a few simple steps.
