Set the Weather on an iPod Touch

Set the Weather on an iPod Touch - Press the home button on the front of your iPod Touch. It is the only button.

Put your finger on the unlock slide bar and move your finger to the right to unlock.
Touch the weather icon. As of the OS 4 in 2010, the icon is blue with a yellow sun. It says "weather" underneath the icon.

Locate the "i" in a white circle at the bottom corner of the weather menu. Touch it.

Touch the red circle with the white line through it to delete the default locations. The icon looks like a "No Entry" sign.

A weather application, partnered with Yahoo, is installed onto the iPod when you receive it. Your iPod Touch will connect to any available wireless Internet connection, which is necessary for the weather to display accurate information. The application gives a five-day forecast that includes the high and low temperatures and an icon, like a storm cloud or sun, displaying weather conditions. For the information to be accurate to your location you need to set it up properly.
