Open iTunes. ITunes may open automatically on some computers. On the left-hand side of your iTune's window select your iPod Touch device from the "Devices" subsection.
Select the "info" tab. Under the "Contacts" subsection, click "Sync contacts from." Select "Outlook Express." Select "All contacts." You can also choose to only transfer selected contacts by clicking "Selected groups" and then selecting the contact groups you would like to transfer. Click "Apply."
Wait while iTunes syncs with your iPod Touch and transfers the contacts from Outlook Express to your iPod Touch device. ITunes will prompt you when the process is complete and it is safe to disconnect your iPod Touch from the iPod Touch data cable.
It is possible to transfer and sync your contacts from Microsoft's Outlook Express with your iPod Touch device. Outlook Express is an email client that is included with the free Internet Explorer versions 4.0 to 6.0 downloads. Outlook Express was also included with Microsoft Windows 98 to Windows XP. Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail have replaced the Outlook Express program. However, for those individuals still using a PC with Outlook Express, it is possible to transfer and sync your contacts with an iPod Touch device.
