The fourth-generation iPod Nano has a sleek design that comes in nine different metallic colors. It is 3.6 inches high, 1.5 inches wide and 0.24 inches thick. One feature of the 4G iPod Nano is the ability to shuffle the songs simply by shaking the iPod. The iPod is controlled by a round click-wheel. The center of the wheel is the "Select" button, "Menu" is at the top of the wheel, "Fast Forward" is to the right of the wheel and "Rewind" is on the left side of the wheel. Volume is controlled by scrolling the wheel clockwise to increase volume and counterclockwise to decrease it. The wheel is also used to scroll through the iPod's songs, artists, playlists and menu options.
