Use an iPod Shuffle A1204 - Put music on the iPod. Install iTunes on your computer. This can be downloaded from the Apple website (see "Resources"). Open iTunes. Drag and drop the music files that you would like in your iTunes library into the iTunes window. Connect the iPod shuffle with the computer using the provided USB cable. The iPod should automatically begin to sync with the iTunes library. If not, open the iTunes window. Click on the name of the iPod under the "Devices" heading in the sidebar. Click on the "Sync" button in the lower right corner of the iTunes window. Connecting the iPod shuffle to the computer will also charge the device. Disconnect the iPod when you are finished by clicking the eject button next to the iPod name under the "Devices" heading in the sidebar and pulling out the USB cord.

Turn the iPod on. Slide the power switch on top of the iPod. A green light next to the power switch will indicate that the iPod is on.
Play music on the iPod. Select the play order (either shuffle or in the order of their position on iTunes) by sliding the shuffle switch located on top of the device, opposite the power switch. Press the Play/Pause button to begin music playback. Press the Play/Pause button again to pause the music playback. To change tracks press the Fast Forward button. To return to the start of a track press the Rewind button. Press the Rewind button twice to play a previous track.

Adjust the volume. Press "+" to increase the volume and "-" to decrease it.



Fast forward or rewind within a song. Press and hold the Fast Forward or Rewind key to navigate to a specific place in a song.
