Click the "Download" icon according to your computer's operating system.
Click the "YamiPod" icon on your desktop to open the program.
Connect your iPod and open your media library (iTunes or Windows Media Player). Your computer should detect the type of iPod that is connected. If it doesn't, select it from the window asking for the iPod generation.
Select the playlist you wish to transfer from the YamiPod interface. The menu should display all of the contents of your iPod.
Owning an iPod makes it easy to get and store mass amounts of music right from your computer. However, Apple designed the iPod so that information only travels one way. What do you do if you'd like to back up that music playlist you downloaded from the Internet straight to your iPod? Just take a few minutes to download a freeware program, and you'll be able to back up the information.
