Select the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" tab from the settings menu. The new page loads displaying the device's mail, contacts and calendar information.
Locate the "Accounts" section at the top of the page. Select an email address you want to remove from the device. A new screen loads.
Tap the "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the new page. Tap the "Delete Account" button again when the confirmation prompt appears. The email is deleted from the device.
Select the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" tab from the main settings menu.
Keep the email account information on your iPod Touch accurate to get the most out of the device's capabilities. You can change the email address associated with the iPod Touch built-in "Mail" application by editing your mail preferences in the settings menu. Remove the address you want, then add a new email account to the device to change the settings.
