Copy MP3's to iPod - Open Apple's iTunes software. This is the music library system that copies MP3s to your iPod. If you don't have an installation of iTunes on your computer, see the direct link below in Resources.

Click the File menu and select "Add to Library." A dialogue will pop up.
Browse to where the MP3 files are stored on your hard drive. You can select multiple files by holding the "CTRL" key (COMMAND on Mac) or the "Shift" key.

Select "Open." iTunes will import your songs and organize them automatically in your iTunes library.

Connect your iPod to the computer by using the iPod-compatible USB cord.

Your iPod has enough space for thousands of MP3 tracks–assuming you know how to get them on the device. Fortunately, Apple made the iPod easy to use, even for the technically challenged. Paired with Apple's iTunes software, its easy to manage, organize and transfer your MP3 collection straight to your iPod.
