Click the File menu and select "Add to Library." A dialogue will pop up.
Browse to where the MP3 files are stored on your hard drive. You can select multiple files by holding the "CTRL" key (COMMAND on Mac) or the "Shift" key.
Select "Open." iTunes will import your songs and organize them automatically in your iTunes library.
Your iPod has enough space for thousands of MP3 tracks–assuming you know how to get them on the device. Fortunately, Apple made the iPod easy to use, even for the technically challenged.
