Scroll down the Settings menu with your finger and tap the option that reads "Mail, Contacts, Calendars." You should then see a complete list of your currently enabled email addresses, beneath the "Accounts" heading.
Tap the email address that you want to delete.
Scroll down to the bottom of the account information page for your selected email address and tap the red "Delete Account" button. A confirmation dialog will appear on your screen. Click "Delete Account" a second time to confirm.
Apple's iPod Touch not only lets you play MP3s and videos, the device also gives you the ability to surf the Web and access your email using any available Wi-Fi connection. Specifically, the "Mail" application allows you to access all of your email accounts in a convenient list, check for updates and send new messages. If one of your email addresses should ever become inactive, you can remove it from your iPod at any time.
