Connect the three RCA cables on the other side of the video cable into the RCA video "In" ports on the DVD player.
Turn on the DVD player and the iPod. Set the DVD player to the "Video" input. Select the movie you want to watch on the iPod and press "Play." The iPod video now begins to play over the car DVD system.
Most new Apple iPods have a built-in video function that allows you to watch MP4 video files. You can add anything from downloaded video clips to full TV shows and movies to your iPod. And with the correct connection cable, you can plug your iPod into larger screens such as TV monitors, projectors and DVD players built into your vehicle's stereo system (as long as the DVD player has an RCA video input).
