Delete Songs From an iPod Nano 4th Generation - Open iTunes on your computer.

Click the "Music" category at the top left of the application.
Click the check mark to the left of any song that you want to remove from your iPod Nano.

Connect the 4th-generation iPod Nano to your computer with a compatible Apple USB cable. The iTunes application will remove the songs from the iPod Nano that you deselected.
