Tap "Settings." The Settings menu will appear on the screen of your iPod Touch.
Using your finger, scroll down to the "Safari" icon and tap it. The Safari preferences menu will open. The fourth item on the menu is "JavaScript." Beside the JavaScript menu item is a button that says either "ON" or "OFF."
If the button reads "ON," JavaScript is already enabled. If it reads "OFF," tap the button to switch it to "ON." Javascript is now enabled, and you can turn off the iPod Touch or go to another application, as your preference will be automatically saved.
Many websites use JavaScript to create a more dynamic web experience. The iPod Touch's built-in web browser, Safari, is compatible with JavaScript, but JavaScript functionality must be explicitly enabled before it will work. This only has to be done once.
