Re-Enable an iPod

Re-Enable an iPod - Attach the iPod's USB cable into the iPod's data port and the other end into the computer's USB port.

Double-click the "iTunes" icon on your computer to open the application, if it doesn't automatically launch upon connecting your iPod to the computer.
Click your iPod's icon underneath the "Devices" section on the left side of the iTunes screen.

Click "Sync." This transfers all of the data saved on your iPod to iTunes, and also resets your code once you eject the iPod so that you can use it again.

Your iPod may become disabled due to a variety of reasons, either through a hard drive crash or quick use of the apps, downloading too many apps or all of the above. When your iPod is disabled, you cannot access any of the data on your device. However, you can usually restore you iPod through the iTunes application so that you can use it again.
