Connect the iPod you're syncing to the new computer using the player's USB cable.
Open the iTunes software. Wait a few seconds and the name of the player will appear in the left iTunes column (under "Devices").
Click the iPod name. Various tabs will be then be listed near the top of the iTunes program.
You may have chosen to or needed to purchase a new computer or laptop. An iPod that you have previously used with your old computer will also sync with the new computer as long as the necessary Apple software has been installed on the computer. The new computer will erase the information that has been saved on your iPod, however, unless you change the one sync settings on your iPod. This change can made using iTunes.
