Copy MP3 Files From a PC to an Apple iPod - Open the iTunes application.

Open the saved location of your MP3 files on your computer.
Drag-and-drop the MP files from the saved location into the iTunes window. When prompted to convert files to M4A, select "OK."

Connect your iPod to the computer using the provided USB cable. The converted MP3 files will automatically transfer to your Apple iPod



Click the eject symbol next to "iPod" on the left side of the iTunes window to safely disconnect the iPod from the computer when the transfer is complete.
