From the home screen, select the icon for "Settings," "General" and "About." The Mac address will be listed in XY:XY:XY:XY:XY format.

Like a car's VIN or vehicle identification number, the iTouch's Mac address individually identifies each unit. Locating the address is simply a matter of browsing through a series of menus.
