Delete iPod Duplicates

Delete iPod Duplicates - Connect your iPod to your computer with your USB cord. When iTunes launches, you can view your library. Setting iTunes to manually manage will allow you to delete duplicate songs manually.

Highlight the duplicate song. Click on the Edit menu and select "Delete." This will erase the duplicate from your iPod. You can also use a right-click action (Control + click) on your mouse and select "Delete" to get rid of the highlighted song.
Search under the File menu. Clicking "Show duplicates" should bring up all of the duplicate songs you have. You can delete the entire collection, or just a few you don't want.

As you load your iPod with all the necessities, you may find some songs that end up reoccurring in your play lists. Instead of getting stuck listening to the same songs over and over however, you can remove these extra tunes quite easily. You can choose to delete these songs manually, or you can have iTunes get rid of the extras for you. The way you choose to go will depend on how many duplicates exist.
