Delete Songs From the IPod Nano 4G

Delete Songs From the IPod Nano 4G - Open iTunes and find the content you do not want on your iPod. You can either delete these from the iTunes library by right clicking on them and selecting delete.

Connect the USB cable to your computer and to your iPod Nano. The device will appear on the screen in iTunes. Under the third panel on the bottom in the Options section, select the option: "Sync only checked songs and videos."
Click on the box next to the songs you do not want on your iPod. This will cause the check mark in the box to vanish. Once all of the songs you want to keep in iTunes but not put onto your iPod have been deselected, click on your iPod in the devices menu in the far left corner.

Click on "Sync" to sync only the checked songs to your iPod. If they were on your iPod before, they will be deleted in the second sync if they did not have a check mark by the box in iTunes or if they were deleted from the iTunes library.

You might have used up all of the room on your iPod Nano 4G, or you just want to get rid of some of the songs on it. Deleting songs from your iPod is easy, and it just takes a few minutes to do. Keep in mind that songs cannot be deleted directly off of your iPod. You will need to use the iTunes program to do that.
