Set Up Apple Mobile Device Service - Download the latest version of iTunes from Apple. Double click on the "iTunes.exe" file to start the installation. Click "Next."

Open iTunes on your PC. Agree to the Terms of Service and click "Next." Select the kind of music files you want to import into iTunes and click "Next." Select if you want to organize your music and click "Next." Select if you want to go to the iTunes music store and click "Next. Click "Finish."

Close iTunes and open the Start menu. Select "Type" from the Start Search and click on "Programs." Select "Apple Mobile Device" and click "Properties."

Select your preferences for how your Apple device will interact with your PC. Click "OK" and restart your computer.

Apple Mobile Device is a program that is bundled with iTunes which allows PC users to connect their Apple portable devices, like iPods, iPhones and iPads, to their PC. Since it is installed with iTunes you usually do not have to do anything for Apple Mobile Device to work besides install iTunes. You can change Apple Mobile Device preferences as well.
