Apple's iPod is a personal media player. It primarily deals with music files, however. You can download music via iTunes and synchronize the files with an iPod with a computer. However, you're not limited to only using one computer to sync an iPod with. Apple allows iTunes users to synchronize their iPods with multiple computers so that they can take their music with them wherever they go.
