Connect an iPod to a 360

Connect an iPod to a 360 - Start your Xbox 360 and turn on a controller.

Insert the iPod USB cable into the USB port under the Xbox's power button and connect the other end to the iPod.
Select "Game Marketplace" on the system and choose "All Games."

Scroll to and select "O."

Open "Optional Media Update," then "Optional iPod Support."

Connect your iPod to your Xbox 360 to play music through your TV. This is useful if you're entertaining people or just want to listen to some music while you are cleaning. By using the iPod USB and having an Xbox Live account, you can play all of the non-DRM (digital rights management; used to keep people from pirating music) music on your iPod. You do not even need a paid Xbox Live account; you can use the free Silver account.
